Enhance your market experience and develop a public relations and advertising campaign that promotes your company, product lines and tradeshow participation. Getting started is easy!

Step 1: Send A Press Release To Trade Magazines
For an easy-to-personalize release template, visit www.glmshows.com/release, and for a list of relevant publications and editorial contacts, visit www.californiagiftshow.com/promo/publications.htm. Be sure to send a copy of the release to the Show's media supervisor – Marianne Delaney (marianne_delaney@glmshows.com) – as she is in constant contact with editors.

Step 2: Advertise Your Presence At the Show
Various advertising methods include:

  • Traditional Print Ads in Key Trade Publications
  • Show Directory
  • Show's Website with Banner Ads
  • Enhanced Directory Listing

For maximum exposure, align your print ad campaign with the Show's campaign. To view the California Gift Show's advertising schedule, visit www.californiagiftshow.com/promo/mediaplan.htm. To obtain information about advertising in the Show directory or on the website, visit www.californiagiftshow.com/promo/ad.pdf.

Step 3: New Product Promotions, Displays and Award Programs
These free opportunities – outlined in the marketing guide – can generate exposure and sales leads for you. GLM's Public Relations team is in constant contact with editors, and will consider your new product for publicity opportunities. Visit www.californiagiftshow.com/promo/newproducts.htm to submit your new product information form.

Step 4: Invite Press To Your Media Events or Special In-Booth Activities
These may include book signings, celebrity or artist appearances and receptions. Bring an extra invitation with you to the Show to post in the onsite Press Center (the area of the Show where all members of the press register for badges).

Step 5: Press Kits for the Press Center
Please drop off 20-25 press kits in the Press Center during set-up of the tradeshow. For tips on building a press kit, visit www.glmshows.com/press/guidetopr.htm
