How do I register to attend the show as a buyer?
Qualified buyers may register via telephone at 800-272-SHOW, fax or e-mail. Buyers who have not attended a show within the past year (two shows) must submit credentials via fax or mail along with their registration form.
Visit the Register to Attend section of the site to obtain information and submit an on-line inquiry form. You will receive a registration acknowledgement email confirming receipt. You will then have the option of mailing or faxing your credentials. Please mail to GLM Customer Service Department, Dept. CGS, Ten Bank Street, White Plains, NY 10606-1954 or fax to 914-948-5440.
Please note: You are not registered until you mail or fax all the required credentials and we acknowledge receipt.

How often do I need to re-qualify to attend the show?
You only need to re-qualify if you have not attended a show within the past two

How much does it cost to attend the show?
There is no charge to attend as a buyer.

How many companies exhibit at the show?
Approximately 1,600 companies exhibit at both the January and July shows and are represented in nearly 2,700 booths.
Is the show broken down into product categories?
Yes, there are 12 product divisions in the show. Please see the Product Divisions section of the site for detailed descriptions of each division.

What hotels are available and are reduced rates offered to Attendees?
Reduced rates have been secured at several downtown hotels. A listing of all the hotels and rates are available in the Travel section of this website.
Will I receive a badge before the show?
Badges will be mailed in advance to all buyers who have attended the show within the last two years (four shows). Buyers who have not attended one of the last four shows must qualify to attend by submitting the appropriate credentials. If they submit a completed registration form and credentials by the pre-registration deadline, a badge will be mailed to them before the show.
Where do I register/pick-up my badge holder?
There will be registration areas in the lobbies of both South and Concourse Halls.
What happens if I forget to bring my badge to the show?
There is no fee to replace lost or forgotten badges.
Are there special services and amenities for International Buyers?
International buyers needing assistance are served at special international desks in the South and Concourse Hall registration areas. Desks are staffed with translators. International buyers also have access to our buyers' lounge, Room 501AB West Mezzanine. Click here for Visa information.

Are children permitted in the exhibit halls?
Children under 12 will not be admitted. Family members of buyers age 12 & older will be admitted as guests for a nominal fee. Childcare is available at the Convention Center through Kiddie Corp. The cost for the children's program is $10.00 per hour, per child for the first child and $8.00 per hour, per child for additional children (2-hour minimum required per child, per day).

Do you allow guests to attend the show?
We do allow guests, however, there is one guest per buyer. The guest must remain in the company of the buyer. The guest fee is $40.00 payable on-site, cash only. No guests will be admitted on the last day of the show.

Are there any show specials?
Free Freight Friday is a great reason to visit the show on Friday.
Feel free to ask vendors if they are offering any other show specials. Some vendors will offer a discount on product based on shipping dates, placing the order at market, etc.
How do I establish credit?
As a new store, you may not have established the credit necessary to write an order on the net 30 terms (paid within 30 days). You will probably be requested to write a check for the full amount or percentage of the order. Asking to have your merchandise shipped C.O.D. will be your best protection for shipments. Ask each exhibitor with whom you place an order, how many C.O.D. orders need to be placed before being considered for terms. Be sure you make note of that on the first order.
Do I have to place an order during the show?
No, you do not have to place an order during the show. It is perfectly acceptable for you to take your notes and brochures back to your store to review them and then make your order.
